How old were you when you found out that even after giving 1/3 of your money in taxes for years, when you resign and become unemployed, you don't receive any kind of subsidies? I was yesterday years old.

@biomedmax wait what do you mean, social security tax is exactly that, you get that back after you retire if your old enough.

@freemo Well yeah, after you're like 65+...

@biomedmax yea, but anyone retiring before that probably doesnt need social security and has a 401K instead, which is partially funded by your taxes as well and gives you a payout all the same.
