Many people remember pre WW2-period as Hitler unilaterally annexing territories left and right. As you can see, it wasn't quite the case. These were international agreement carving Europe in favour of nazis and their allies as an attempt to appease an unhinged genocidal war criminal and his friends.

Carving out of Czechoslovakia was greenlighted by the Western powers. Austria "voluntarily" anschlussed itself to Germany. Splitting Poland in half was a deal between nazis and people who only a couple of years later would lose millions of people fighting for it's liberation from the nazis.

@Elizafox It is possible, at least in my university. Attendance was optional, however, realistically you wouldn't pass if you skipped 100% of classes. The curriculum was just a semi-strict guideline and the level of detail that you needed to know each topic was highly dependant on the professor

@dave that's the real problem. I used to think the best thing is we just disregard the extremes and let them auto-canibalize each other. But the problem is that the far-left nowadays is far more ubiquitous than far right. They are clearly winning, yet they are bloodthirsty so they require more enemies. In order to create those enemies, they dehumanize relatively normal people by calling them nazis and from that moment onwards, it's fair game; "punch the nazis".
