@iron_bug i think eastern europe is interesting historically and culturally. half of my family has at least roots in eastern europe.
it's probably not getting safer now, so it's even more unlikely that i can visit.

@bonifartius I bet Ukraine have my family as their roots...you know... Vikings.
Swedes have this fascination about "Ryssen kommer" (The Russian is coming, like it is one person) going back many centuries, as far back as their is recorded history, i.e. more or less viking days.
I learned Russian in school, for that same fascination, but as you said; Should have visited before "now"... Oh Well!
