every quote of popper i have read has been bullshit so far.

maybe i should give him a chance, but i'm not really convinced it would change my opinion.

@josemanuel never read much of heidegger. from what i just read about him, his metaphysical stuff is fine, as it doesn't have direct consequences for me.

what i dislike about popper is the shilling for social democracy and faux free markets. either you have real freedom or you haven't. you can call what we have here in germany and the eu many things, it's not what i consider as freedom.

i know that most will say that i should be happy to not live in china or the likes, but that's a bullshit comparison of course. just because somewhere is more shitty doesn't make the european democracy simulation better.

the worst things about popper is that even his mediocre "tolerance paradox" is misquoted so that you can silence anyone with it.
