Friendship experiences: Real friends stick to almost the end!
@freeschool the whole covid episode really weeded out many of the friends (and family) i had. really disappointed in how many were acting, and i'm certainly not going to trust them as much.
or at all. i know people breaking with their own parents for not happily going along with all the mandates. how can i trust people who disavow their parents without hesitation, just because the state tells them to?

@bonifartius Thanks for that - honestly almost forgot how good of an example COVID was / is at separating people... almost like saying the wrong topic at Christmas dinner (or any big dinner event) but even big offence taken sometimes from such division on health or even finding out how bad people are from communicating (and just it never being tested or ongoing conversation of sorts). Hi and bye people (even family)...
About the disavow part of family because of state... well it's trick and I don't know all of that - but I know state = parents (of sorts) and legal punishment or even just 'following' orders is a higher priority (even by a small bit) so people choosing state can be logical in that sense state is more of a parent past a certain age... and people need them more (dependency is inbuilt so if they tell me 3 is the new of 4, I might just listen / accept!
So yeah there is a margin, often unclear at time fo break ups too (like your perception of why you broke up versus reality of really what it was - but never know as didn't talk long enough or in detail enough to get there).
Good grief Charlie Brown!
