@bullmousse @bonifartius templeos.org or github or whatever. SHA1: 1a1ec79990e21fa3d66ac680009da63d3ac512b0

There's several "final" releases. One of them contains some extra text files, not the a1a1ec version. I think there's a question of if Terry released the "final" version of TOS and which "final" version of the true "final" version. But it's esoteric-drama stuff that I have conspiracy theories about.

@crunklord420 @bullmousse thanks a bunch! my tinfoil hat was suspicious about the templeos.org site, the hash definitively helps :)

Seeing as how an earlier #Firefox annoyance was fixed for me today, let me ask if this other thing that bothers me can be fixed.

When I allow a website to send notifications in Firefox, the notification window is ridiculously ugly and their official docs don't seem to give any means to make them less ugly. Preferably, I'd have them use my already running notification daemon. Is this possible? If not, can I at least customize them to be less gross?

@genmaicha well, it's kind of weird that an organization like the wef, which is a private club, has him speaking and the speech isn't cut off by "technical issues" when he directly attacks the people there.

i really don't know anymore. could be real, could be controlled opposition, could be some complete unrelated agenda.

i had the though that maybe putting him there and doing these speeches is a kind of preparation for takeover by globalist corporations. note the part of his speech about monopolies. he's right that viewing them as market flaws is probably wrong, but it has a _weird vibe_.

@genmaicha the speech is good yes. i honestly don't know what to think about him though. stuff like this speech is _too good_ to the point that it's uncanny.

@istvan @p rest assured, the oracle is clock based

The technique I use to consult the Holy Spirit is reading a microsecond-range stop-watch each button press for random numbers. Then, I pick words with <F7> or passages with <SHIFT-F7>.

@roboneko @freeschool
well, in a sense the renters are pricing themselves out? with a sane market prices reflect demand and supply. cf. the rents going down approximately 20% with milei cutting regulation. for example, zoning is complete bullshit here in germany. there are many empty office buildings directly in cities which could be transformed into appartements with some drywall.

it's a clusterfuck problem - mostly self inflicted. for example if you tell kids and parents that they will have no good life without going to university, many more will do that, critically impacting the housing market in some few cities. if many would just learn a trade they'd be much better off, more happy and could live somewhere with affordable housing.

these things have no easy fix. blaming landlords for not handing out free lunch which the meme does is make believe.

lastly, i had some good landlords in a pretty contested city which weren't ripping off people. it required a bunch of time to find those as well, but it payed off long term.

Would you be interested in using Fediverse / Mastodon currency ...

@freeschool
i think monero has pretty good properties. the part of cryptocurrencies being bad for the environment is bullshit there are _so many things_ done by states which are much much worse for the environment starting with prolonging bullshit wars but the list is nearly endless.

cryptocurrencies directly profit everyone except the people who want to rob you.

@Elf proposes a honey backed currency in the profile, i'd totally go with that :)

@freeschool regarding the muppet picture: the landlord is still taking the whole risk of the credit, ownership, and does provide maintenance and upkeep. things the usual renter is not interested in doing. those are a very big part of the value provided for the rent.

with renters who think like the muppets a building wouldn't last a year until everything is broken. things don't fix themselves.

It is still puzzling how people simp and defend corposhit failures. Looks awfully similar to patriots defending their countries on teh internets, but at least with countries these lads are a part of a bigger whole. With corpos, these people are literally nothing but free PR drones.
