The story revealed how Vyawahare—then a senior member of the forensic dept at GMC Nagpur—forcefully omitted details of a head injury from Loya's post-mortem. But as we highlighted, he had allegedly been fudging autopsy reports much before that: specifically those of farmers.

Justice Chandrachud holds that the provisions of the Finance Act 2017 allowing Centre to decide Tribunal members is unconstitutional, not just the Rules. @TheQuint@twitter.com
Before you shift bases to Mastodon, it’s important to backup data from Twitter. And here’s how you do it.
3 months given to the Center to form a trust for building temple on the disputed #Ayodhya land. Why not also fix a time frame to finish the court trials on offenders of #BabriMasjid demolition & punish the convicts?!
#AYODHYAVERDICT
Those of us who are born into privilege especially in the majority community can probably never understand what it means to be on the other side either as a religious or ethnic minority or as a scheduled caste or tribe where one has to fight even to live a life of dignity apart from proving their loyalty, integrity, love for the country etc. every single day. The privileged don't understand they have had generations of advantage while the others have borne the brunt for generations till date.
Still learning. But here is my first post:
On this the third anniversary of the biggest blunder of an economic policy decision taken by the Government of India since independence in 1947, we are still paying the costs.

News channels should not hold any *debate* on the subject.
Shouting, screaming, vindictive statements should be avoided.
They should clearly report.
Three-way bifurcation by the High Court was legally unsustainable. Even as a matter of maintaining public peace and tranquillity, the solution which commended itself to the High Court is not feasible.
This Court in the exercise of its powers under Article 142 of the Constitution must ensure that a wrong committed must be remedied.
#AYODHYAVERDICT
Justice would not prevail if the Court were to overlook the entitlement of the Muslims who have been deprived of the structure of the mosque through means which should not have been employed in a secular nation committed to the rule of law.
"As we speak, all our districts are in a curfew-like state, with more police than we have seen in decades. Our reporters are bringing live updates on the heightened security, and some fear and paralysis. Is this what peace looks like?"

#babri_rammandir_verdict #babrimasjid Hope the supreme court verdict tomorrow is not given under the influence of the ruling party.
We #Mastodonians feeling sane atmosphere which is free from trolls, but trolls cannot survive on #Birdsite longer as majority earn their bread or use their reach to propagate hate. They have to move to #mastodon today or tomorrow peddle the same hate here.
Question we should ask each other is What can we do here to maintain sane atmosphere that we could not do on #birdsite
Some Qs re Mastodon:
Say this service grows to have 600 mn users across instances. One anon user on an instance toots a revenge porn video. Many across other instances boost it.
Q1. How will Mastodon deal with it?
Q2. How will an aggrieved party get justice?
Q3. How will an instance deal with it?
Q4. What can a govt do? What can't it do?
Q5. Will shutting down an instance be an option if it refuses to take down video? What will users on that instance, who haven't committed a crime do?
What's common between Saudi Arabia and India? The use of Twitter by the powers that be to shape public narrative and silence dissenters. Twitter as a company actively complicit. My article.
