We ran out of bread, so I made two (smallish) loaves of bread, and now we have again!

BREAD
2 cups warm water
2 tsp or 1 packet yeast
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp vegetable oil
Add flour until muddy (2 C or so)
1/2 tsp salt
Stir 100 strokes, rise 45 minutes
Addmore flour until dough (3 C or so)
Knead, rise 45 minutes
Punch down
Form into 1 or 2 loaves
Put into oiled / PAMmed bread pan(s)
Let rest while oven preheats to 350°
Bake for 40-60 minutes, until done

Tada! I kneaded some cool butter into this one, for a little extra richness.
