wow, a "roam" research like in vscode. zettelkasten like knowledge manager. pretty nifty stuff, used for my stream and learning notes from now on!
It is not only Covid-19 that reawakens the European #NightTrains.
Thanks to all organisations and people who have been campaigning for more #SleeperTrains for years. Things are moving forward! 🚞🌃

I search-engined "why is thermodynamics so hard" and got answers. this blog post made my life. undergraduate thermodynamics is 20% generic math, 80% storytelling, and its confusing because they don't tell you that.

The main "types" of physics (maybe all natural science) are held to be theoretical, experimental, and computational, with some debate whether computational science is theory, experiment, or a 3rd category. I've recently seen data analysis added as a 4th.
My personal view is that computational physics is, if done "right", definitely a type of mathematical/theoretical research - but a lot of it is data churning; some sort of non-science. The same could be said of analysing big data and experimental science.
