Those who reported sleeping nine or more hours each night had a 23% higher risk of stroke than those sleeping less than eight hours each night.
Stroke risk was 25% higher among those who took midday naps for at least 90 minutes compared with those napping for less than 30 minutes.
#QOTO: How, or whether, would the human eye perceive a shift in phase (angle) of electromagnetic waves in the visible fraction of the spectrum?
Like, change in frequency is perceived as change in color; change in amplitude is perceived as change in intensity of light; would the human eye be able to detect a phase shift? Are eyes of any other animal(s) able to detect phase change?
Leaky gut syndrome - Wikipedia
Leaky gut syndrome - Wikipedia
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaky_gut_syndrome
The opening of intercellular tight junctions (increased intestinal permeability) allows uncontrolled passage of substances into the bloodstream, with subsequent possible development of immune and/or inflammatory reactions.[3][8]
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intestinal_permeability#Clinical_significance
A well studied model is celiac disease, in which increased intestinal permeability appears secondary to the abnormal immune reaction induced by gluten and allows fragments of gliadin protein to get past the intestinal epithelium, triggering an immune response at the intestinal submucosa level that leads to diverse gastrointestinal or extra-gastrointestinal symptoms.[25][26]
Leaky gut syndrome - Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaky_gut_syndrome
Unlike the scientific phenomenon of increased intestinal permeability ("leaky gut"),[1][2] claims for the existence of "leaky gut syndrome" as a distinct medical condition come mostly from nutritionists and practitioners of alternative medicine.[1][3][4] Proponents claim that a "leaky gut" causes chronic inflammationthroughout the body that results in a wide range of conditions, including chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, migraines, multiple sclerosis, and autism.[1][3]As of 2016, there is little evidence to support the hypothesis that leaky gut syndrome directly causes this wide array of diseases.[1][5]

'Curious and curiouser!' Meteorite chunk contains unexpected evidence of presolar grains
https://phys.org/news/2020-01-curious-curiouser-meteorite-chunk-unexpected.html
Presolar grains—tiny bits of solid interstellar material formed before the sun was born—are sometimes found in primitive meteorites. But a new analysis reveals evidence of presolar grains in part of a meteorite where they are not expected to be found.

@ae Very few people – not only in the west, but here in the orient as well – know about Greco-Buddhism, the Indo-Greek Kingdom, the Indo-Scythians, the Kushan empire, Kanishka the Great, and, of course, the art they created — Greco-Buddhist art.
