She wrote the first Canadian disability law textbook. I'll be honest, this article mostly wrote itself.

My just-turned-13 year old has complained in the last few weeks of feeling a deep sense of #DejaVu regularly, and how much it weirds him out. We've talked about it and in discussing it, I realised that I was also kind of plagued by that when I was around the same age as him, but that slowly over time I stopped getting it so much.

Now I dont think there is anything mystical or magical at all with Deja Vu, but know that is just an odd quirk of the human brain. Im wondering though if there are studies that have been done that show that it is more prevalent in developing teenage/young adult brains? Like could it be, that with all those new connections being made in their noggins, things go awry more often, and generate that odd deja-vu sensation?

Any #psychology / #neurology buff out there that have heard of this?

Nel suo nuovo video, @notjustbikes ci mette in guardia da un possibile accordo USA-EU per il mutuo riconoscimento degli standard per le automobili. Cosa significa? Che potreste vedere le nostre strade invase da veicoli enormi e pericolosissimi (ne avevo parlato qui).

La cosa peggiore è che a spingere per l'accordo potrebbero essere i costruttori europei, ingolositi dal mercato USA, e, peggio ancora, dall'opportunità di usare i ridicoli standard di sicurezza USA sui nostri territori, fregandosene delle conseguenze, in nome del profitto. #ETSC ha messo insieme una tabella che paragona gli standard, e c'è da aver paura.
