Ab Juli werden die Bezüge der Bundestagsabgeordneten automatisch steigen. SPD und Linke fordern, angesichts der wirtschaftlichen Lage auf die Erhöhung zu verzichten. Doch Unions-Fraktionschef Spahn will daran festhalten.

Deutsche Raffinerien produzieren aktuell mehr Kerosin, um dem Mangel entgegenzuwirken, den es laut Reiche nicht gibt. Deshalb wird weniger Diesel produziert. Der wird durch die Knappheit, die es laut Reiche nicht gibt, teurer. Den Preis senkt die Regierung dann mit 1,6 Mrd Euro Steuergeld mit dem Tankrabatt. Um dem zu finanzieren wurde die Tabaksteuer angehoben und alle sollen mehr rauchen.

Aber klar, ein Tempolimit und Recht auf Homeoffice wäre verrückt. Mir raucht der Kopf 😵‍💫

google's new "mobile reCAPTCHA verification" will require you to scan a QR code from either an iOS device with the reCAPTCHA app or an android device with up-to-date google play services.

EDIT: this is part of google's new "fraud defense" system, and is (seemingly) intended to be used for more "important" things like purchases rather than just e.g. comment sections. however, there's nothing stopping site owners from using this thing everywhere

Ursula von der Leyen has halted a previously planned multibillion-euro fine against Google at the last minute. This is reported by both the Handelsblatt and Capitol Forum. In an open letter released today, more than 30 organizations including @rebalance_now are calling on the Commission President to impose the fine promptly and thus effectively enforce the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
