We're getting a new cheese box!

For real: it's so chill to do adulting by commission :-) One of us (the working group) researches the matter. Eventually they prepare a short presentation outlining requirements and offering a limited number of options.

Then together (management group) we.. just decide without having an existential crisis about accidentally buying the wrong cheese box and destroying all hope for future happiness of humanity. It's nice.

I bought 2 Fluke 45 for $60 and soon after sold one for $50. The remaining one is a bit sick: resistance measurement isn’t quite right. Let’s look into that.

But first I wanted to verify voltage measurement. Here’s the result with 2 other totally uncalibrated benchtops.

The good: they all 3 measure the same value.
The bad: I’m using a voltage reference that’s supposed to output 5.0000082V.

The measured value goes up and down quite a bit too, and that’s 1 hour after switching it on.

This post got 111 million views and apart from his claim being factually incorrect, it also shows that politicians of the remaining free countries should not support his social medium by posting there, because it is not about promoting free and informed dialogue — it is about spreading false myths using an algorithm design by Elon Musk to benefit Elon Musk.

Great to see the larger cities in #Finland getting on board with trams.

A few years ago #Tampere got their tram, and now #Turku will be getting one as well, planned to be operational in 2033.

A massive win for #sustainability of #transit. Unlike #bus lines, which can be changed at moment's notice, a tram line is fixed and brings an element of stability to the city, for its inhabitants and businesses, thus shifting locational logic of several urban systems and services.
