In our recent "Inversion Invasions" paper we studied the conditions under which inversions invade genomes and become involved in adaptation. Sagy et al. have recently published in #NatureMedicine an analysis of the real-world efficacy of #JYNNEOS, the #smallpox shot redeployed against #monkeypox.

Nice piece: “Stop the peer-review treadmill: I want to get off”. I think the days of pre-publication peer review are already numbered. To maintain it there needs to be better incentives - and I don’t mean payment! Recognition of peer review activity as a scholarly contribution would help a lot.
