Comorbidities raise the risk of death of any disease, but it's MUCH worse with #COVID19. A data study looked at mortality for various pathologies in relationship to the number of comorbidities.

Two comorbidities increased the risk of death 4.8x for cardiovascular disease, 5.0x for cancer, and 9.3x for COVID.

But six comorbidities increased the risk of death 12.1x for cardiovascular disease, 12.5x for cancer, and 136.7x in those with COVID.

'There’s no way to put a price on the pain and suffering prevented by childhood vaccines. But as it turns out, you can pinpoint the savings to the country.
For nearly three decades, childhood vaccines — including those that target measles, tetanus and diphtheria — have saved the United States $540 billion in health care costs, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.'

Fascist movements co-opt media outlets to shift blame away from themselves & the consequences of their greed.

Hitler's American Friends & Hitler's Aristocrats paid for favorable propaganda.

It worked right until a world war that killed 90 million people.

That's the future the rich are buying, a charred cinder for a planet, either in war or climate collapse.

The greed of the rich caused the 1929 Crash, Great Depression & WW2

'Times Square’s decline can be dated to the Depression, which introduced burlesque, flea circuses, and dime-a-dance halls, but it wasn’t until the 1970s that the bottom fell out. The grand Broadway palaces partitioned themselves into grindhouse theaters; Forty-Second Street became “the Deuce”; Strip-Tease gave way to Peep Show; Peep Show gave way to Live Sex. Still, it is possible to detect, in Friedman’s chronicles, beneath the squalor and disgust, contravening subtones of glee, ribaldry, even elation.'

'After Covid-19 vaccines transitioned to the commercial market last fall, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stepped in to ensure that adults without insurance, or those whose insurance plans did not fully cover the vaccine, could receive shots for free. The agency’s Bridge Access Program provided roughly 1.5 million shots, said Dr. Georgina Peacock, the director of the immunization services division at the C.D.C. Nationwide, about 27 million adults do not have health insurance.

But the program ends this month, making it even harder for health centers to provide shots for free. The C.D.C. announced in May that funding for the program, which clinics expected to last through December, would actually run out by the end of August. A spokesman from the C.D.C. said the agency is discussing strategies to increase vaccine access for people without insurance.'

'They also found that children with MIS-C had an unusual immune response to the coronavirus: They made antibodies to a part of the viral nucleoprotein that the other children who had severe Covid did not.
Then came their “aha moment,” Dr. DeRisi said: The part of the viral nucleoprotein that the children with MIS-C react to is remarkably similar to a section of SNX8.'

"Imagining a really bad future for American leadership in the world economy? Want to know what hegemonic malfunction really looks like? Check out the politics of Washington DC, in the immediate aftermath of World War I! The combination of domestic and international policies adopted at that point was uniquely counterproductive and reflected a crisis on the US home front that is underrated in its severity."

'We provide evidence that functional antibody responses mediated by IgG and IgA are associated with protection against malaria in young children vaccinated with RTS,S, and suggest potential differences in the correlates of immunity between males and females. These findings reveal new avenues that could be used to achieve malaria vaccines with higher efficacy.'
