@darwish are you wanting to use it via the CLI, integrate with network manager or use a pretty user interface? Is it for a gateway or specific devices? I think a good all rounder might be NordVPN providing you don’t need to talk to customer support and just want to use simple apps. I’m not a customer but I was once.
@darwish@binsrc Sorry didn't see this earlier, but binsrc is sopt on.
I use ProtonVPN and it is excellent. Used other providers for years, and always paid for it.
Now it's only needed casually, and they do have a free service which works. For one week you get the full paid access - to see what the other servers can do.
After a week they offer you t oupgrade to paid, and if not desired, then you get access to servers in only 3 countries - US, Japan and Netherlands.
Each has about 3 free servers, and you can look at their loads before selecting one.
Even this tier of service is good. I have planned to do a write up about it, and a blog post too, just haven't got to it yet.
@darwish@binsrc Should also mention that their software is amazingly easy to install - a no brainer, and runs fast, it reconnects almost instantly when returning from sleep mode.
