@amayer @MAKS23 Because it's always been the first sign of easing of tensions. Effectively these individuals are bargaining chips. I find it interesting that Peskov has "nothing to say" on the matter. What we don't know is who's doing the negotiating from RU perspective. Because Putin's credit line has run out at this casino.

by the look of it many of the political prisoners in Russia you could often read about on my feed are free - Novaya Gazeta has an unconfirmed list of some of the names not yet in the bulletins: Oleg Orlov, Andrey Pivovarov, Sasha Skochilenko, Liliya Chanysheva, Ksenia Fadeyeva

@MAKS23 May have been a routine thing but yesterday and today there was a flurry of military activity over the North Sea, with US,UK and NL refuelers, Typhoons and F-15s. The latter sometimes not appearing on ADS-B even though I could see them with my own eyes. And that seemed like a lot of gas for only a handful of jets.

Around 400 people were hiding inside," and: "My great grandfather did not fight in WWII for four years so that Russia could become a fascist state and attack #Ukraine ."
She was convicted of spreading "false information" about the Russian army.

@pseudonym "Horse walking on water" was being sped along the Seine by a some sort of submarine, like something from a James Bond movie.
Altogether spectacular, but lots of random bits of contemporary dance with no real story about Paris or France. Amazed nobody fell off a boat or slipped in the rain (as far as I could tell).

@cmconseils For the logistics and concept of using the city instead of the stadium? Brilliant. Some of the pieces were amazing, but there were far too many incredibly dull portions that told me nothing about Paris or France. And whilst they were spectacular to see, I imagine you'd be marked if you'd sat there in the rain for several hours.
