On a quick visit, it seems a well laid out personal Blog, visually it's pretty, well done.

...although I don't think FB would be able to charge personal users, they do milk advertising to the highest possible level.
Since they have awful privacy and cooperated blindly with political marketing in the past (2016 election US, Brexit campaign) I have been staying away.
