I had been using PDF X-Changer for long time. Recently came to know about Foxit Reader and it has been far far better.

The UI is so smooth. And there are lot of options to work on the PDF file.

Even the Mobile app is quite good too.

Would highly recommend.

@shibaprasad I support your recommendation, having used it for years too.

Hint - the older versions of Foxit Reader are smaller, simpler and work well. They are still available if you look around.

Definitely NOT Adobe Reader or what have you.

@design_RG
Yeah. Currently using the current version but read the same on Wikipedia about the earlier versions.

@shibaprasad It's worth keeping things we download, as the newest is not always the best.

I should have known better, just had an example yesterday, BlueStacks Android breaking what was a perfectly functional installation here with a version upgrade. Never had seen it crash before. Ugh.

@shibaprasad You can find a huge list of older versions here:

oldversion.com/windows/foxit-p

I think version 4, the latest one on file, would be ok, maybe even their latest v.5 one. Their size is about 10 times smaller than the latest, current release, I imagine.
