@OzSTEMTeach @mngrif Interesting, it would depend on the setup you have, and the amount of time students spend in the programme.

Keeping it simple is a good idea, maybe engraving into a 2 D flat plate, drawing their initial letters. I have used something similar on the past, although we had some software that allowed importing a true type font output directly, no coding or coordinates required (short time in the class).

If you have time, it can tie into cartesian coordinates pretty nicely, which is part of G8 programme, isn't it?
