@freemo Very nice image, but is it a real photo or a montage of the spacecraft silhouettes against the solar disc?
We are so far away from it, the ISS is minuscule compared to the Sun, I would think.
Mercury seemed about that size when photographed in transit a few days ago.

Seeing this photo I immediately recalled the Mercury passage ones, where the planet seems about this size in scale.
Nice depth of filed in the photo, that can capture the close ISS while keeping the Sun in focus too.
@design_RG At those sorts of distances depth of field isnt really an issue. You are focused towards infinity at that point.
Keep in mind the focal distance of a lens is non-linear.
@design_RG sizes in the universe is very deceptive.
If it were in closer orbit to the sun thant he earth **then** we could barely see it.
Keep in mind mercury is much closer to the sun and much bigger than the ISS yet would appear as a small dot about the size of the ISS in this picture.
