I find it funny that basically from 0 - 18 yo we live in a draconian dictatorship run by our parents where they have complete control, dictate almost every aspect of our lives, have complete legal authority, and make up propaganda like Sanra Clause to keep us in line.

Is it any wonder as adults we seek government to control us more and more through more regulation and laws. I think for many its just a psychological replacement for what we had as kids, and just as we did as kids we love to rebel against our masters :)
