This is a tab that's on the left of the home screen of most vanilla or vanilla-style android launchers that is populated by Google with news based on your interests.

I don't think I would be able to stand that, being too distracting for my taste. But seems to keep you finding new items, so, bonus. 😃
@realcaseyrollins Ah, ok, I canm't stand busy screens like the TV with the scrolling thingies on the bottom. Wish we had controls to disable that.
Alas, I just don;t use the tv at all, othe than to watch some of my local media collection.

@realcaseyrollins I have collected a lot of things that today are hard or impossible to find. Lots of DVD-r disks, plus HDDs when the cost of large ones came down.
Streaming services are handy to load a file casually, but they are missing a lot of content.
@design_RG They're missing very little of what I like, but as time goes on it actually gets harder.
Before college (1.5 years ago) there was only one thing missing, my favorite show at the time, #FallingSkies, which was on #AmazonPrime. Now many #CartoonNetwork shows are showing no signs of heading over to #Hulu.
What is more disconcerting is I cannot get DVDs of some of the shows I really want to own, like the #CartoonNetwork shows #InfinityTrain and #MaoMao, and #ASeriesOfUnfortunateEvents.
