A new Feature that I found added to Mastodon code,, created by Renato Lond, admin here at masto.donte.com.br.

Kudos, @renatolond , nice work!

His modifications allow for a Local Only, non-Federating Toot -- a feature I have seen and enjoy in GlitchSoc instances, but not seen yet on normal Mastodon instances. Screenshots show just the Toot Editor and the controls for this feature.

I received a reply from Renato explaining :

"it's glitch soc code, just extracted to Mastodon code base, there's a pr over atit's glitch soc code, just extracted to Mastodon code base, there's a pr over at : "

@freemo, could you roll this into the Qoto code base when you work on it for the max_toot_size, possibly?

Legend for images :

1. the Chain icon is where Federated or Strictly Local post modes are selected.

caption on mouse over says: "Adjust Toot Federation"

2. Once selected, the Chain icon pop up this panel for selecting normal Federated Toot; or a Strictly Local, non-Federated one.

A cool feature, developed by GlitchSoc devs - thank you!
