@freemo It is a pretty interesting story. Flying an enemy plane, solo, deep into enemy air space during wartime, he was lucky not to have been shot down by fighter squads.
I am not familiar with the details, but it is a nice topic to brush up on. WWII is one of my favourite periods, got lots of books on it.

Indeed. They actually tried to intercept him at least twice. While they knew he was up there they couldnt actually spot him in the air.
He was flying about 50 feet off the ground at high speed when he was in land which explains why he was hard to spot.

@freemo That is a gutsy and skilled pilot. Over hostile terrain, no less.

Yea, he was a trained pilot, had one of the best teachers in the Reich, but he never saw war time. But he definately prepared for it.
Also he wasnt just 50 feet above the ground this was at night none the less.
That said he was no hero exactly. He did a lot of bad things and his attempt to make peace was more along the lines of "let me convince britain to stop fighting us and let hitler take over europe without resistance"... but he was also nuts so....

@freemo
amazing, and in the dark of night. Gutsy.
No wonder they had a hard time tracking him. I will have to do some reading on this.

@design_RG
Yea its all very bizarre. He even tried to explain the whole psychic jew thing at his trial (nuremberg trials) but the jury basically cut him short and told him to shut up, lol
