He disappointed many of us, tired of incompetence in the Bush II years, leading to the crisis in 2007-8.

Obama really impressed me when I first saw and heard him speak, on the Dem convention in 2004. Outstanding.

The same jerks now are OK with running a 1 Trillion USD yearly Deficit -- and this was Before the pandemic came, which led to all gates of Fed slushing open.

Dual standard, they are despicable. The dual party system there is not representative and needs radical change, a difficult thing since there are entrenched interests which will vigorously oppose any changes.
