** Feature request ?

Could we possibly get MORE Pinned posts in our Profiles?

Reason being, they ARE really nice to keep important ones on view. I use and enjoy those.

I am using the Allowed *5* max Pinned posts.

All of those are Kick-Ass ones -- some mine, some I find tremendously important.

Please, Sir. can I have some More ?

@design_RG pinned tweets are so annoying when I go to someone's page to see their responses to recent things

reeeeee

@Ox I can understand that, and sorry for the extra scrolling -- if you visit mine, it's a far trip down vertically, as I love those posts - and they ARE feature full.

I am not a Twitter ex-user, but a Forums person, and miss the goodness it can offer.

This extra Pinned allowance could be implemented by an instance, I imagine it's a config option somewhere.

Unless Eugen did the same as the "Max_Toot_Length = 500" , which is deliberately hard coded in various source code files. And discourages people from allowing greater post character count limits. [sucks huge, to be polite]

@freemo can probably hack in the source and allow More Pinned Posts here ar Qoto. Reason for my post, but it could be a nice one for others, no? 😛

@design_RG

I find pinned tweets annoying too. For the same reason. Ideally the UI should separate out pinned tweets into its own tab IMO

@Ox

@freemo @design_RG I wouldn't mind if it was in a separate "featured posts" tab

Ah -- nd that suggestion just clicked an idea here. That it Could stay near the top of the profile, where it is now - but with a Expand Fold button.

That would display it for those interested. Doable, not biggie I would imagine.

Sounds doable with a little CSS, might not even require a code modication if the html for pinned posts have a css class attached to them...
