@shebang I am originally from Ottawa but I moved to the US 7 months ago under a non-immigrant visa. I can tell you that the Can-USA path is faster than other countries but still takes years, lawyers, a corporation sponsoring you, and being chosen in a lottery. It generally requires a bachelor's degree and Canadian universities are a political mess right now...

@dave at this point, the police released a statement that they expect trucks to leave by Monday, but the protesters have claimed they won't until mandates are lifted. Most mandates are technically a provincial issue, however there are federal mandates as well for international travel. In my opinion, this situation will end in violence. There has already been snipers scaring people off
