@chexum @mfitzp @0xC0DE6502 Thanks. And indeed.. we don't want FOMO.
@mfitzp @0xC0DE6502 Ok. Thanks. I have an account there now. Will have to see if I decide to move there or stay where I am.
@0xC0DE6502 Nooo. You said the T word.
@Wintermute_BBS @mfitzp @0xC0DE6502 Still a bit confusing how the server propagation works exactly. Will need to RTFM.
@mfitzp @0xC0DE6502 Hmm.. ok. So it might be better if I stay where I am.
@0xC0DE6502 Yes.. I think you are right. petterhans posted a flowchart on the birdsite how the visibility works.
@gpowerf True. It is far fetched.
@0xC0DE6502 I see most of the retro folk are there, but maybe it's not really needed to move... Seems to work fine except the federated and local timelines.
@gpowerf Indeed it is. Let's hope something like this will also happen to youtube.
@A8bit Thanks. I will try that.
@gpowerf Yep.. That's what I thought.
Thanks for the tip @janbeta ! I followed these instructions ... https://barrd.dev/article/add-a-verified-website-to-your-mastodon-account-using-link-tag/
I for one prefer the green mammoth tick to the blue bird tick. It means a website is linked to a #Mastodon profile through a html link attribute. Difficult to fake (or buy). Clever. #Fediverse #Twitter #Birdsite

This employs my column doubling program that halves the width of text in ANY text/graphics mode (except MODE 7).
