@gsymon @falken What percent of users have to turn on that accessibility setting for it to constitute as just a bad design?
This is people responding even before they start walking around with their devices in direct sunlight. Then it will compound with real glare. It’s not usable design. Just eye strain to flex about how fancy their OS can render.
Everyone who doesn’t like it should submit the feedback. Apple is going to walk it back a bit before the summer is over. It won’t be this bad.

Luckily, they already thought of that. You can reduce transparency and increase contrast in the Accessibility Settings. (Been there for a long time).
