Does anyone know how to enable WPML translation of footnotes inserted using the block editor? I can't find reference to them anywhere.

I'm so excited about this upcoming space mission.

NASA has just confirmed that the Dragonfly octocopter will launch in July, 2028. When it arrives, it will spend at least two years flying over the organic-rich sands of Titan, Saturn's largest moon.

If you’ve not seen the ‘kids or dogs in pubs’ discourse I’ll seem like such a weirdo here. But basically there’s a big fight going on around various bits of the internet about whether we should let kids or dogs (or both) in pubs. And I just think... it’s absolutely fine to have a variety of spaces catering to different people.

My thoughts on the CSRB report on Microsoft's breach last year. No not that breach, the other breach. No, the other other breach. Yeah, that one.

Even Google got away with a phony demo of their AI. Google is a public trading company, yet no action has been taken against them. m.youtube.com/watch?si=xfDb-Nh

Rereading Pratchett at the moment. Sometimes things just hit home...

HUMANS NEED FANTASY TO BE HUMAN. TO BE THE PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGEL MEETS THE RISING APE.
“Tooth fairies? Hogfathers? Little—”
YES. AS PRACTICE. YOU HAVE TO START OUT LEARNING TO BELIEVE THE LITTLE LIES.
“So we can believe the big ones?”
YES. JUSTICE. MERCY. DUTY. THAT SORT OF THING.

I'm planning on being at EMFCamp again this year but also I am entirely out of ideas for anything to submit so my bias is to actually just go to an event where I don't have to care about doing so, but is there anything I could do that people would maybe be interested in?

Microsoft says it’s starting to test ads inside the Start menu on Windows 11. The software maker will use the Recommended section of the Start menu, which usually shows file recommendations, to suggest apps from the Microsoft Store. Trillion dollar corporation is so poor. They need more money by selling your data to the highest bidder. wtf? #privacy #security theverge.com/2024/4/12/2412864

What do you even say, aside from "never get into a Tesla".
