No working screen reader for nine years* but, hey, you folks want some AI with that?
Let Fedora know what you think in their survey to add generative AI to the operating system:

Huge milestone. At 4'8", the kid's finally tall enough for the top of her head to be visible to the driver of an #F250.
(and yes, this IS a pedestrianized area)

@NanoRaptor "Ultimately, the PowerBook 190LC is an interesting concept, but both the lacking battery life and the compromised screen real estate when compared to its contemporaries seem like glaring issues that makes the user wish for a more conventional machine. However, we remain cautiously optimistic about its rumored sibling, the PowerBook 190DSC, which is said to feature a touch-sensitive second screen with hand-writing recognition derived from the Newton line."

Two updates to this thread.
Update 1: In this thread I complain Mozilla does not provide specific technical details about this feature. It turns out there *is* a document with the technical details, on Github:
https://github.com/mozilla/explainers/tree/main/ppa-experiment
It also explains (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Origin_Trials) which sites are participating in the feature.
I am linking this document because I believe the first five words do more to discredit what Mozilla is doing here than anything I could say:
"Mozilla is working with Meta"
This accidentally-published-early Tusky feature is called "Default reply privacy". It lets you automatically restrict the privacy of your replies. In the version it shipped in, if you reply to a public post, the visibility of your reply will automatically be set to "unlisted" (aka "quiet public"). This might have already impacted some of your posts. We are sorry about this.
If you want to restore the old behavior, go into Account Preferences and set the option in the screenshot below to Public:
