The (non-Play) app installs, asks for location, and then claims it doesn't have permission.

It works fine on stock Android - but won't run on Graphene.

A handsome, white, upper-middle class man from the Midwest, with an ivy league education and chronic debilitating pain just, without help from anyone else, 3D printed a ghost gun and a silencer at home and used it to execute a wall street CEO.

This murder completely robbed MAGA of all their previous excuses. This wasn't feminism. It wasn't immigrants. It wasn't brown or black people. It wasn't a trans person. It wasn't a left coast elitist. It wasn't mental illness. It wasn't a blue-haired leftist. It wasn't Marxism. It wasn't communism.

This was the consequence of two previously unrelated right wing mechanisms suddenly coming together: the Venn diagram of unregulated healthcare and unregulated guns. This is the MAGA deregulation machine attacking itself. And they are completely unprepared for it.

A Florida woman has been charged with terrorism for expressing frustration at blue cross and blue shield for denying her health insurance claim.

Understand this fact -- this is not about silencing her. It is about silencing all of us. And we must peacefully but firmly resist.

@simon_brooke I would encourage everyone who signs this to ALSO submit a response to the consultation directly. In my experience drives like this, even if they collect thousands of signatures and form responses, get collected and counted as a single "campaign response" and as only a single vote when it comes to determining positive or negative sentiment.

#curl 8.11.1 has been released. It includes a fix to #CVE_2024_11053 - a #vulnerability I discovered.

It is a logic flaw in the way curl parses .netrc file. In certain situations, the configured password can be sent to a incorrect host. Luckily the affected configurations should be quite rare and thus the situation is unlikely to occur often.

The issue has existed in the curl source code for almost twenty-five years.

Although we are not fully sure yet, there is a suspicious activity pattern from Russian IP addresses that currently brings Codeberg to a halt.

If confirmed, it is the first #IPv6 #DDoS attack in our history. Previously, we were only dealing with IPv4 so far.
