Happily we don’t typically get those massive buildups.
If fact, up on the bank here we prefer having shore ice to protect against erosion.
We still have some on the beach but it’s going fast.

And what’s with all the bamboo on the beach?

That stuff came over us in the UP overnight.
Thunder snow, slushy rain, rainy slush. Wind. Yuck.

In April 1938, Guy Callendar published his seminal paper showing that Earth’s land areas had warmed over the previous 50 years.

He also suggested that man-made CO₂ emissions had caused around half of the observed warming.

Elites are always looking for a way to out-elite each other. EM seems to have missed how to market these though. Maybe because he doesn’t fly commercial airlines. They are masters at getting people to pay for micro bits of status.

Hello wonderful fediverse followers. Your interactions have been so much better than what we experienced in the previous decade on Twitter. Just wanted to say that.

It could spin off a whole self contained ecosystem: e-mail solicitation, invent the data, write the paper, write the reviews, presenting at predatory conferences.
Would it matter if any humans were involved?

Maybe there’s already an invisible virtual publishing world churning away in silico.
