Had a little more time than usual on my morning walk to look for fungi. Still had to battle with a lively spaniel on a lead, but pleased with what I found. #fungi #sporespondence #mushtodon

The family mausoleum of Robert William Kennard at Kensal Green Cemetery. One of my favourites, as the door reminds me of the Tardis. Taken October 2018. #TombTuesday
Out on a #SundayStroll in Claybury Park. Focussed on the micro habitats in the branches. #mosstodon #fungi #lichensubscribe #sporespondence
#TombTuesday. Having lunch today at old St Pancras churchyard. The tomb of John Soane is here, which may even be the inspiration for the iconic red telephone boxes. There’s also the Hardy Tree.
Seeing recent activity on #terrarium made my day. Here’s a photo of my aqua terrarium. It’s 12 months and counting and in desperate need of a spruce up. The cryptocoryne is healthy but hasn’t grown much. Moss is in need of a trim or replacement; water needs refreshing; lava rock needs a scrub. Very much a warts and all photo.
From this morning’s walk behind Wanstead rugby club, killing time while son was training. Can anyone recommend a good UK fungi field guide to aid identification? #fungi #sporespondence
This pushed the limits of my phone so photo isn’t great, but think I got some #slimemould on this morning’s walk.
I’ve posted photos of moss, fungi and slime mould today so finishing the set with #lichensubscribe. This Cornish #drystonewall May 2021 has plenty going on.
New kittens Totoro and Calcifer settling in. They’ve already put the resident dog in her place. #catsofmastodon #studioghibli
