Timelapsing using only screenshots was getting heavy in term of space, so have added a new to compress the using a magical technology called ''.

@frayoshi Cool! I just started compressing screenshots and videos in a capture utility I wrote with Bash as well

github.com/wick3dr0se/grimcap

love it @wick3dr0se !! :blobaww:
I should add an usage too.. might come in handy! ^^
I see you went eith x265 too! :D on the normal preset is kinda realtime ^^ Still, haven't tested the dofference between a slow x264 and a normal x265 :blob3c: could be worth exploring it! even if my guess is that would still be heavier..

@frayoshi Thanks!!

You definitely need some usage and maybe some documentation in the readme at least for what the scripts are. Looks good though but I didn't investigate much because I think it's a bit obscure. I have a ton of Bash projects and even look at your dotfiles a bit but it's also not documented I feel. Like it's hard to see why to use it or how to contribute currently

From what I seen, x265 will compress more efficiently with higher quality but I didn't compare any or read into it

yeah @wick3dr0se , the repo was more for my personal usage and local.. then at some point I thought might have been helpful for others, so I pushed the commits.. but there are A LOT of refinements to do! :abloblamp:
