I embedded my latest toots in my static website, using the @fenwick67@octodon.social tool, mastofeed at https://www.mastofeed.com (thanks!).
Looks pretty good to me, and it was really easy!

Also thanks to @freemo, who gave me the hint of having static websites to work with the #fediverse. The idea you proposed of a more deep integration, with comments and all, that would be so awesome!

@arteteco @fenwick67@octodon.social I think you see me toots because i set the height much higher (1600 instead of the default 800).
I dont think it would help much as a starting point for my idea really, even if they do address a similar problem (mastodon in static sites).
@freemo @fenwick67@octodon.social Looks pretty smooth, nice! Wonder if there is a way to show a fixed amount of toots... I see way more in your embedding than in mine, not sure why. Maybe 'cause you include the answers.
Could this be a good starting point for your project?
