@khird Actually no, signing the ticket is recognition that you received the ticket, nothing more. the reason not signing the ticket gets you in jail is because by detaining you they can clearly prove that you are in fact the person accused.
The point remains though, other than a day or two in jail (until your identity is verified) there are no greater consequences. You will under no circumstances be shot and killed and under no circumstances expiernce any extended period in captivity.
Though I would argue that yes, even then we should recognize the harshness we assign such an act legally.
