The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is effectively the longest running troll in history. No i wonder I love this dude so much.
@SecondJon Very intersting, not surprising. Though I suspect at least some parts he may have still been on his back since it only says his device covered half the space.
@freemo That article continues on to say that it was moved half way through the work to continue on the other half. The "mooning the pope" I wonder about. Seems suspect that it was meant to be so offensive yet nobody noticed it for centuries, and it is in a gigantic painting with tons of nudity. Was it just part of the art or was it trolling? Important mystery we may never know the answer to.
@SecondJon I agree, I am skeptical too but it seems valid. The mooning does seem kinda out of place.
