Funny how all the religions pretty much say the same thing yet some people interpret this to mean "hate anyone who doesnt believe in exactly the same shit as you".

Β· Β· 3 Β· 9 Β· 7

@merlose_loire No shit, you figure that out all by your lonesome? I didnt create the meme. Though I suspect they did it because specifying the religion by name (which would be more accurate) would have went over most people's heads.

@freemo
boosted because yoj're still a shitty racist defending racism, and people should know you're a cunt

@merlose_loire What makes you think anything about this post (or any post for that matter) is even remotely racist? Never mind the fact that I pointed out many times here that I'm Native American myself, but even if I wasnt it still isnt racist.

Are you seriously that delusional or just joking. I really can't tell.

@freemo
you're right the bureau of indian affairs has never been racist despite being mostly brown, brown people can't be racist glad we cleared that up

so what tribe are you, homey? got a frybread racipe?

@merlose_loire Well considering I explicitly stated the fact that my Native American heritage doesnt grant me immunity to being racist I'm glad your cocky response was pointlessly agreeing with me.

My heritage is of the Panawahpskek, usually in english called the "Penobscot". The tribe I come from was originally native to new-england, it was a smaller tribe so you probably dont know of them.

@merlose_loire Also still waiting for you to actually show even the smallest hint of racism from any of my posts. In fact the few posts that reference race call out racism rather than endorse it

Also yes, my tribe is one of the tribes that makes frybread. I could give you the recipie, but generally I've learn not to feed people who attack needlessly based on assumption of race as you seem to do, if you have another legitimate motivation I have yet to see it.

@freemo
Sure! We'll just pretend it's not offensive to people who are Christian or Jewish or that there isn't a bunch of broad generalisations in the base post. So! You:

1. Conflated 'Native Americans' as being a group equivocal to Christians or Jewish people, rather than a broad amalgam term with historically and linguistically sketchy boundaries

@freemo
2. Assumed your status as a so-called "Native American" would make you exempt from having to be accountable regarding your bigotry and therefore used your tribespeople as a shield whereby you don't have to justify the equivocation made in/of point 1.
2a - 1/3

@freemo Footnote: The phrase 'pointed out here many times I'm Native American' is a pretty broadly shitty statement as if anybody on any instance gives a shit what race you claim, why is this even relevant ughhh which leads me tooo!~

3 - 2/3

@freemo The original image applies the same caricaturisation and pidgin english common to depictions of indigenous peoples as a monogroup, multiplying the base level of racism inherent whereby your summary reposting of racist content is also, thus, a racist act. And finally-- - 3/3

@freemo
bitch fry bread is eggs water flour n lard plus heat it aint fuckin hard everyone and their granny got a recipe and you sure as shit don't have to be any particular tribe to have one, so stop being up in here with that 'oh my tribe' bullshit like you anywhere close to ndn land you racist ass motherfucker

@freemo
BONUS ROUND

here's some of my favourite of your toots all equally toxic for different reasons, since you're such a paragon of native virtue (if you have any fallacies like *strawman* or more roundabout *gaslighting* up your sleeve now'd be the time)

@Surasanji Neither do I (though im find with restricting and limiting abortions to a certain extent) - 2/3

The post is more about the validity of the argument itself.

Perfectly sums up the lesson the vast majority of people on the left end of the political spectrum in english speaking countries desperately need to learn. - 3/3

@merlose_loire Criticising the hypocrisy of a political party (something I do to BOTH major parties in the usa) in your diseased mind is racism now too. Wow what isnt racism in your mind, This is getting to be pretty hilarious.

@merlose_loire Remind me again why you think me moving to the Netherlands and feeling at home makes me racist, wow your really grasping for straws, LOL

@merlose_loire I wonder if you understand sarcasm in the slightest. This was clearly a post to mock trump supporters, my comment was a characture of the stupid shit they say.

If you think I ACTUALLY literally meant it was the mexicans fault then you must be pretty clueless.

@merlose_loire
"clustercunt". It just rolls on my tongue so nicely.

Thanks!

@freemo

has cussing

@freemo @vfrmedia
I just laugh and laugh whenever i open that image :-)
I just sent it one of my kids.
She still blames me for taking her to mass every week, but...
I think there were some good lessons in there anyhow.

@madhur As far as I know none of these are intended to be quotes from holy books directly (since most arent in english). They are phrases that sum up the philosophy of the religions.

The original person/source who wrote this meme was Namrata Mehrotra. My understanding is that the quote is the reflection of the principles of karma.

@freemo This does not reflect principles of Karma. In fact, as far as Karma theory is in Bhagwad Geeta, this may not even be compatible.

Now that I am looking, I feel the Buddhist thing here may also be off the mark.

@freemo I am not an expert but a shlok in Bhagwad Geeta says, translated roughly :

"Do your karma, don't worry about the consequences."

Where karma refers to that action/work which is your duty/responsibility to do/perform.

Contrast this with what the meme is saying about Hinduism :

"Treat others as you would yourself be treated."

Thus binding an expectation of consequences to behaviour, and hence to action - and appears in direct contradiction to theory of karma in Bhagwad Geeta.

@madhur I see a few of my hindu friends tomorrow. I figure since they are the closest thing I know to an expert I will ask them for their insights as well.
