Regardless of if he is innocent or guilty there is NO excuse to confine someone in jail for a year with no trial and no bail. That is a disgusting abuse of due process. Even if found innocent after a year spent in jail he was effectively punished anyway (at least partly).

It amazes me americans can see a person told he will be in jail for a year without trial as the person pleads, their innocence, kills himself, and everyone cheers.

Why can't america see just how beyond lunacy things have gotten on both sides of the political fence?

@freemo Whether Jeffrey Epstein was guilty or not is besides the point. I agree. Forcing anyone to be in Jail for a year with no trial and no bail is wrong. I am not an American, but I think this borders on as being a violation of the constitution as well.
