@freemo well it is a holiday weekend in the states. many people might be traveling
@Absinthe Ahh good point. Though I generally dont interact with people from the USA, partly because I post a lot of anti-usa stuff.
@freemo well then you should have less opposition.
And while we are at it, on behalf of all the persons in the USA let me offer you a hardy, and with as much respect as possible, "gai kaken afen yam."
I hadn't noticed any anti-American posts from you yet, but just so people don't think I don't fight back, I had to give it a shot. :) <-- notice the smiley thing
@Absinthe well anti-american is really not a good word.. more like.. anti-american-bullshit. I usually post about the absurdity and call it out. Not so much hate towards the country.
@freemo hmmm, well in that case do I need to somehow tone down the "Gai kaken oifen yam!"? :)
@Absinthe lol no your good :) I used to live in the USA but fled to get away from the insanity there. Living in the Netherlands still feeling a bit traumatized by a life in the USA.
@freemo other than our current presidential situation I don't know what sort of insanity there is here, but maybe that is just the privilege speaking. I am sorry you had to leave.
@Absinthe The current president certainly is some of the worst, but it was going on long before him.
I often say the way the democrats and the left in general in america behaved is largely why we wound up with someone as horrific as Trump in the first place.
@freemo meh, president can only do so much for so long. We've had worse and better. And soon either next year in in 5 we'll have a different one.
@Absinthe The president and what power they hold wasnt really my concern. It is a symptom. It is the way the people behave, and the changes in healthcare (obama care) that mostly drove me to leave. 90% of that being the lack of maturity of its people.
@Absinthe All those less privilaged than me in america is why i keep a presence there at all. I am fairly active in various charitable activities there.
@freemo it sounds like it. I couldn't afford to support a home in 2 states let along 2 countries. :)
