@TheGnuMaster To be fair youtube subscriptions are not going to remotely come close to reflecting popular opinion. If you subscribe to a candidate it means you are extremely loyal and faithful to them. The vast majority of voters hate all politicians and just think one is marginally less evil than the other. But isnt likely to follow them on youtube or in general beyond maybe listening at debates.
@TheGnuMaster I dont think it even reflects popuarity among young people. it shows the popularity among fanatics specifically. It is more a reflection of the break down amongst extremists rather than young people.
@freemo I don't know what you mean by extremists.
I do agree that an incontrovertibly accurate proof can not be obtained from the youtube subscriptions even amongst the younger demographic.
@TheGnuMaster by extremists i mean fanatics, people who are loyal in the extreme to their candidate to the point of being blind to oppositional arguments.
@freemo There are plenty of those.
@freemo I fully acknowlege this is in NO way a representation of everyone's preferences, not by a long shot.
@freemo I totally agree with you.
My point is showing how unpopular amongst younger people the ones that CNN and MSNBC are propping up are.
