FYI christmas started this weekend in the netherlands and lasts all the way until the end of the year.
It is kinda a big deal :)
@freemo that's interesting. In India we have 3 major hindu festivals(holi, raksha bandhan and diwali). But culturally, every state has some of its own festivals that are famous. In hinduism, we have atleast one festival every month. That's really cool.
@_lunawinters Yea when i worked in a mostly indian workplace it seemed we were celebrating something new every month. It was a lot of fun as we would usually go to an indian resteraunt and they would tell me about the culture and the festivals and the sort of food that tends to be associated with it.
@_lunawinters It is impossible to be eating indian food and not having a good time :)
