I feel like we need a bot to post ASSIST and ACM journal papers too. I love the arXiv bots we have so much that it makes sense to expand that a bit, considering we are a STEM instance.

@freemo It's nice to have bots running that bring content from other networks or repositories.

Have found a few interesting ones, specially the media sites; NY Times, WSJ, possibly others.

Medium term project, learn more about what's required and how to do one of those. πŸ˜‰

@design_RG Lots of good bots out there. For me i am trying to be careful not to upset the balance. I want the timeline to look almost entierly human. So i usually unlist bots.

However some bots are unique int he fediverse and have a very specific benefit for STEM users. So far our policy is to list bots that are unique and are STEM themed.

With that said I do try to still pay clost attention to the ratio of bot to human posts to make sure its a small minority.
