After watching the Mandalorian I have decided that disney completely ruined Star Wars for me. It was cringe worthy the whole time.
The only good sci fi I have left to look forward to is "Picard", I hope it doesnt disappoint me!
@CCoinTradingIdeas Maybe, TnG was leftist back in the day but in a healthy, positive and correct way.. I guess the question is if this new version will loose it to modern day leftism (which isnt nearly so noble).. we shall see.
@freemo Haven't seen it, but all the latest productions have felt like they are milking the franchise way too heavily.
I stand aside and take my attention elsewhere.
@freemo@qoto.org I watched some trailers on many streaming platforms and I just hate them. They are a lot of unnecessary dark drama. I really miss the light humour sci-fi such as Stargate SG-1.
@cwt I can handle dark, but light scifi is nice too.
