Considering the two tests I took agreed about me being Libertarian but disagreed on if I leaned right or left I decided to take a third test to settle the difference. Seems I do in fact lean right.

@freemo
Seems at odds with your stance that taxpayers should pay for libraries.

@sda Thats why im near the middle on the spectrum. I obviously feel that there is justification for some social programs under specific circumstances.

@freemo
I'm taking the test right now. I suspect we may be in the same quadrant.

@freemo Seems like I lean more towards left/center. I didn't know that.

@arteteco There is usually a bit of wobble around left-right center in these tests it seems. At least that was my expiernce. Your result matches the first test I took pretty closely but the others had me leaning more to the right.

@freemo Today the concepts of left & right are just silly reductionism. If you're a pro-choice Christian supporting free market economy - is that left or right? Semantics is even more stupid, with Americans using "liberal" as synonym for "socialist" and "socialism" - for social democracy.

@kravietz Ther eis a big difference between the actual definitions of left and right and the way people use those words. This is simply because most people are uneducated and arent very careful when it comes to their choice of words.

Being christian has no bearing what so ever on being left or right. Left and right are a question of what your stance is economically, do you favor taking money fromt he rich to help the poor (left) or do you favor free market which may or may not provide a solution to that (the right)

I think what you really mean here is Liberal vs Conservative in the general sense. Those ideas are more closely related to christianity and has a tie in to free-market philosophy as well. But that has more to do with party affiliation than a spectrum for a specific philosophical quality.
