@kravietz I saw the original statement she made where she included it. I didnt agree with her at the time.

@freemo It's easy to say living in NL with free top-class healthcare ;) What she says, the notion that a country spending billions on defence is perfectly able to afford public healthcare, makes perfect sense.

Also in the response she specifically admitted that she made mistake with numbers and she obviously should get it right, and that's where her words were manipulated in the first place .

@kravietz That wasnt where she was wrong, so I can see why you might make that mistake.

They make it sound like the reason people accuse her of being wrong was some isolated incident with defense spending. She has been caught telling exagerations and lies at every turn, and the reason I see her as stupid is because she usually adamately beleives those lies. Remember the interview itself was a liberal candidate on a liberal "news" station, from the get go we all know it was purely spin, look at the words he uses like "your math is fuzzy"... no her math isnt fuzzy, she has been caught lying about immigrants drinking out of toilets, and countless other things that go **well** beyond some fuzzy math.

So while the entire interview was a misrepresentation of her mistakes, as expected,on larger consideration the excuse of "oh I dont need to be right because im morally superior" falls very very short.

As for me living in the netherlands, part of the reason I fled the USA to come to the Netherlands was specifically because of the effects of Obamacare, at the time I was going through spinal surgery. You are right healthcare in america is horrible, but people like AoC and many democrats in general have not helped that situation.

PPS Another large part of the reason I fled was Trump, so its not **just** the democrat party I have an issue with.

@freemo Obamacare as I understand it, is nonsense as long as there's the whole chain of middlemen and insurers who are only interested in inflating costs on the way from payer to service provider.

@freemo Netherlands, by the way, is my next step in case UK is no longer good place to live. I love their LTE and trains, UK sucks at both.
