I was just cracking a joke, like "I'm in denial that the rover is actually that big so I'll just tell myself that the scientist standing next to it is an elf, building it in a tiny elf workshop."

@deadheat yea it makes sense for sure. But when I see the pictures, I think partly due tot he fish-angle lens it just comes across much smaller.

@freemo Yeah, I also thought it was much smaller! In Mars there's nothing familiar around to make a size comparison too, those rocks may be of any size... Turns out they were actually much bigger too.
