@torresjrjr Keep in mind we might migrate QOTO over to pleroma too, but it isnt really minamilist it seems more feature rich.
@freemo I'm interested. Is there a post or discussion about this potential migration I can read? I'm still learning about the current state of the fediverse.
@torresjrjr not yet.. i am playing with it locally and once its up ill put up a test server for our users to try out and see if they like it or not. If they do then I can migrate all our posts and content from here to the new instance
@freemo OK, cool. Sounds good. What's your motivation for the potential migration? Easier and lighter to maintain? Or as you said, more feature rich?
I read from Pleroma that it implements ActivityPub more faithfully and therefore allows for extensibility.
@torresjrjr well for now im just going to test it and see if I and the rest of the server even want to move. But its largely the feature base.
QOTO has a lot of custom features I added on. Its a lot to do. We get some of that out of the box with pleorma
